I love the cultural contrast between coffee and cocktails and the synthesis that emerges when they are combined. Coffee is generally considered a morning or daytime drink, and cocktails are generally an evening or night drink. It reminds me of a song by Panic! At the Disco, "When the Day Met the Night." So in that respect, I wanted to create a drink that could reasonably been seen anywhere at anytime.
