Verger Noir (eng: Black Orchard) is a love letter to my favourite sweet: Orangettes. Similar to its inspiration, you are first introduced to a velvety and earthy combination of coffee and chocolate from the Mr Black and Chocolate bitters. It is then complemented by floral and fruity notes from the orange blossom water, Grand Marnier and orange bitters, capped off with a hint of smokiness from the Laphroaig. Any Orangette lover will surely love this! And if you aren’t, this might convert you!
Ingredients
25 ml Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
15 ml Grand Marnier
7.50 ml Islay Whisky(Laphroaig)
2 dashes Orange Blossom Water
2 dashes Orange Bitters(Scrappy)
2 dashes Chocolate Bitters(Scrappy)
Directions

Combine all ingredients in a chilled mixing glass.

Mix all ingredients with ice then strain into a chilled rocks glass.

Add a large ice cube and garnish with an Orangette, dehydrated orange or an orange peel.
