I like Irish coffee, and more specifically cold brew Irish coffee. So I wanted to create something in the spirit of that but at the same time something completely different. I wanted to bring out the chocolatey tones of the beautiful Mr Black cold brew coffee liqueur and also give the cocktail a little bit of an herbal character as well as a nutty taste. This is the cocktail to enjoy after a long night of partying. So what better way to start off the morning with this clean and decadent drink!



 1 oz Reposado Tequila
 ¾ oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
 ½ oz Amontillado Sherry
 ¼ oz Yellow Chartreuse
 2 dashes Angostura cocoa bitters
 2 oz Heavy cream
 1 pinch Nutmeg



Pour the tequila, mr black, sherry, chartreuse and the two dashes of cocoa bitters into a mixing glass.


Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir until cold and properly diluted.


Strain your cocktail into your favorite Nick & Nora glass.


Then lightly whip some heavy cream and pour it carefully over the drink with your bar spoon, and finish it off with freshly grated nutmeg on top. Enjoy!
