I'm a professional bartender, and at my bar I solely run brunch, so when thinking of inspiration I thought about the luxuriousness of brunch and the beverages often seen at them. I wanted Mr. Black to be celebrated by pairing it with other spirits that compliment different aspects of the cold brew liqueur. I think the caramel and toast notes of The Quiet Man showcases the rich dark chocolate of Mr. Black. I used the Amaro Nonino as the modifier to highlight the citrus and bitterness to create a well rounded flavor. I added the egg white to make it feel really indulgent, as if it's your dessert after brunch, or dinner service.

1.50 oz Irish Whiskey(The Quiet Man)
1 oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
 0.50 oz Amaro Nonino
 1 Egg white
 1 Orange expression
 2 dashes Cherry Bitters
 2 dashes Black Walnut Bitters

Fill the Boston tin with spirits and egg white

Shake with ice then strain and dry shake

Double strain into a chilled coupe glass

Peel an orange and express oil over foam

2+ dashes of a cherry Bitters of your choice

2+ dashes of black walnut bitters

Create a design with the bitters if you'd like, garnish with a lovely array of espresso beans and an optional orange swath or twist
