I'm a professional bartender, and at my bar I solely run brunch, so when thinking of inspiration I thought about the luxuriousness of brunch and the beverages often seen at them. I wanted Mr. Black to be celebrated by pairing it with other spirits that compliment different aspects of the cold brew liqueur. I think the caramel and toast notes of The Quiet Man showcases the rich dark chocolate of Mr. Black. I used the Amaro Nonino as the modifier to highlight the citrus and bitterness to create a well rounded flavor. I added the egg white to make it feel really indulgent, as if it's your dessert after brunch, or dinner service.
