The recent return of cooler temperatures put me in the mood for something smoky and rich. So, Mezcal was the first thing that came to mind and it pairs wonderfully with the bittersweet coffee of Mr. Black. A little rich cinnamon syrup adds in some warm spices. An egg white adds the creamy smooth texture. Throw in some fresh orange juice and you have a Mezcal Brunch. Enjoy!



 1.50 oz Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur
 1 oz Mezcal
 1 oz Fresh Orange Juice
 0.75 oz Rich Cinnamon Syrup
 1 Egg White



Add all ingredients to a shaker tin and dry shake for 30 seconds


Add 4 - 5 large ice cubes to the tin and shake for another 15 - 30 seconds until chilled


Double strain into a coupe and garnish with an expressed orange peel

      Oh most definitely. One iteration I had used chocolate bitters, I suspect any orange or earthy flavorings would be very complementary. Thank you.
