This is a slightly spicy daiquiri, featuring a jerk spiced simple syrup and hot sauce, tempered by Mr. Black and a nice Jamaican rum. I drew inspiration from the tropical climates needed to grow coffee, which led me to rum and spices. All of this led me here, to this tasty twist on a classic.

Directions
Combine all ingredients listed above and shake thoroughly
Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with a wedge or two of candied pineapple on a cocktail pick
1. Combine one cup each of water and sugar with 2 teaspoons jerk seasoning.
2. Boil until sugar is fully dissolved.
3. Rest off heat for 10 minutes before straining and allowing to cool.
