My tai iced coffee is a refreshing take on a mai tai as well as a thai iced coffee. It spices up the traditional mai tai recipe with Mr. Black, sweetened condensed milk and almond milk. it is a delicious and very well balanced drink. At first, when I was brainstorming, I thought because of the citric nature of coffee, it would lend itself well to a mai tai, and i thought the almond flavor of the orgeat would lend itself well to a thai iced coffee, so I was inspired to blend the two drinks.

Ingredients

 1 oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
 1 oz White Rum (Plantation 3 star)
 ½ oz Cointreau
 ¼ oz Orgeat
 1 oz Lime Juice
 1 oz Aged Rum(Ron Zafra)
 ½ oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
 1 oz Almond milk (unsweetened)

Directions

In a cocktail shaker, mix Mr. Black, orgeat, lime juice, cointreau, aged rum, white rum, sweetened condensed milk and almond milk with ice

Shake for 10-15 seconds

Strain with a hawthorne strainer into a rocks glass or a tiki mug over fresh ice

Garnish with a spent lime half
