We may have suppressed the proof in this cocktail, but that only makes it more approachable for more occasions. Its low ABV makes it the perfect brunch drink (coffee, anyone?), a wonderful afternoon mood booster, or a stunning aperitif. The richness of the coffee balances with the sweet raison notes of the sherry and the bitter finish of the Cynar, providing a complex and satisfying quaff any time a sophisticated sip is in order.

1 oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
 1 oz Sweet Vermouth(Carpano Antico)
 1 oz Amontillado Sherry
 1 oz Cynar
 2 dashes Orange Bitters

Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice.

With a bar spoon, stir briskly until cold.

Pour over one large square ice cube in a rocks glass.

Garnish with an orange swath or twist.

I do love that the nearly empty bottle of Mr. Black shows the cool design in the glass.
