One of my husband's favorite treats are milk chocolate oranges. With football season starting, I knew I would be making one of my signature snacks soon: orange slices dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with sea salt, so I thought with this challenge, I would step it up and turn this treat into a cocktail. Mr Black's was the perfect missing ingredient, and the warmth and purity of the coffee liqueur paired so well with the flavors, that it is our go-to halftime drink now!
Measure the Mr Black coffee liqueur, orange liqueur, orange bitters, and chocolate bitters into a shaker cup.
Add a few cubes of ice and shake until outside of cup is frosty, approximately 20-30 seconds.
Pour into small rocks glass over 2-3 cubes of ice.
Add a very small dash of coarse sea salt to the top of the drink and spray twice with orange oil.
To garnish: prepare beforehand a slice of orange (variety/type of choice), dip into melted chocolate, and sprinkle with sea salt. Put in refrigerator until chocolate sets. Place orange on bamboo skewer or cocktail pick and then into glass after drink is poured.
