This was a very happenstance recipe that started of with thinking about a boulevardier variation but I was tired, getting ready to go out for the night while at the same time had been taking my coffee with a bit of honey. I didn’t have any honey syrup on hand so I saw mead as the closest thing that ads some additional complexity



 1.50 oz Rye Whiskey
 0.75 oz Campari
 0.33 oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
 0.33 oz Sweet Vermouth
 0.33 oz Mr Black Amaro
 0.33 oz Mead (more sweet than dry)



Mix ingredients in the glass over ice and stir


Garnish with an orange peel
