PSL...but make it boozy. I love PSL season, and this adult cocktail with cold brew is the perfect libation to cozy up with for fall, next to a bonfire with a flannel blanket. This cocktail is made with 4 oz pumpkin chai cold brew coffee, 1.5 oz Whistle Pig Rye, and 1.5 oz Mr. Black Barrel Rested topped with a pumpkin cold cream. Garnish with a sprinkle of pumpkin spice on top and a cinnamon stick.
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp. Pumpkin puree
1 tbsp. Whole milk
1 tbsp. Maple syrup
Sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice
Sprinkle of cinnamon
I used my stand mixer to whip it until soft peaks formed. If you have a frother, you could use that instead.
4 oz. Pumpkin chai cold brew coffee (I use Death Wish Coffee Company because there are no artificial flavors and they are just the best coffee). You could use regular cold brew (it just won't be as pumpkin-spicey).
1.5 oz. Whistle Pig Rye
1.5 oz. Mr. Black Barrel Rested Whistle Pig Whiskey Casked cold brew coffee liqueur
Dry shake ingredients enthusiastically. This builds the natural foam that forms with cold brew. Add ice and shake. Strain into a lowball glass with ice. Pour cold cream over top. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a dehydrated orange peel stem top (because it looks like a pumpkin top) 🎃🎃🎃
