This was inspired by a nigh spent by the fire pit many moons ago. After diving headlong into the Fall pumpkin craze I figured my wife and I could use a little evening pick me up. At the time we didn't know of any Pumpkin Cocktails, so we decided to throw together a few things we had around the house and this cocktail was born.



 2 oz Mr Black
 2 oz Espresso
 0.75 oz Pumpkin Syrup
 0.50 oz Irish Cream



Make Pumpkin Syrup:
1 Can pumpkin puree, 1 cup water, 1/2 cup caster sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2 tsp Cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 1/2 tsp allspice, 1/2 tsp cloves. Mix them on into a sauce pan and bring to a simmer, after 10 minutes turn off heat and run through a fine mesh strainer.


Mix all the ingredients together into your vessel of choice and stir with a cinnamon stick
