Named in honor of the scenic coastal detour connecting Sydney and Melbourne, this delightful sipper features a surprising combination of flavors. The balance of rich coffee, smooth bourbon, spicy ginger, and punchy citrus serves as a reminder that some of life's greatest moments come from taking the long road and trying something new and unexpected.



 0.75 oz 100 proof Bourbon Whiskey(Old Grand-Dad Bonded)
 1.25 oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
 0.75 oz Dry Curaçao
 0.75 oz Pineapple juice
 0.75 oz Lime juice
 1 tsp Ginger Syrup
 2 dashes Orange bitters



Combine all the ingredients into your cocktail shaker


Whip shake with pebble ice to mix and aerate


Dump into your favorite tiki mug (or highball or double old fashioned or whatever makes you happy!)


Top with pebble ice


Garnish with a dehydrated pineapple wheel, dehydrated orange slice, and a big sprig of mint

    Please enjoy! I put a lot of effort into fine-tuning this recipe, and I also made it one of my goals to use mostly ingredients that people with somewhat limited home bars could still enjoy it! Most substituted bourbons and orange liqueurs should work well, and the ginger syrup isn’t absolutely essential. It is delicious though!

    What I love about this is it contain ingredients I have on hand or usually have on hand. It doesn’t involve me buying or making something new that I wont use again unless I’m making this.
