Named in honor of the scenic coastal detour connecting Sydney and Melbourne, this delightful sipper features a surprising combination of flavors. The balance of rich coffee, smooth bourbon, spicy ginger, and punchy citrus serves as a reminder that some of life's greatest moments come from taking the long road and trying something new and unexpected.

Please enjoy! I put a lot of effort into fine-tuning this recipe, and I also made it one of my goals to use mostly ingredients that people with somewhat limited home bars could still enjoy it! Most substituted bourbons and orange liqueurs should work well, and the ginger syrup isn’t absolutely essential. It is delicious though!
What I love about this is it contain ingredients I have on hand or usually have on hand. It doesn’t involve me buying or making something new that I wont use again unless I’m making this.
Thanks so much for commenting! That was exactly the goal here: to make something delicious that could be made in most home bars without a bunch of super special ingredients or hard-to-find bottles! I’m so glad you liked it!
