Coffee is one of my favourite things in the world. I get so sick of people asking for espresso Martinis and we pride ourselves on the wicked experience we give people at B&D with coffee. The science of coffee is similar to that of wine: from terroir, to fermentation but mostly to the complexity of the palate! This drink is a homage to Dick Bradsell for creating the famous coffee cocktail, but another chapter in the coffee cocktail book. Tea, redbull, filter coffee stirred down is medicine?



 40 ml Pisco
 30 ml Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
 40 ml Filter Coffee(Columbian Cultivar Five Senses (v60 extraction))
 15 ml Redbull/Tonka Bean Reduction
 10 ml Sugar Syrup
 4 dashes Earl Gray Tincture
 1 dash Acid Solution



Pour everything into stirring jar


Stir until diluted enough


Strain over a nice rock and garnish with biscotti

    Super interesting. How do you make the redbull/tonka bean reduction? What are you using for the acid solution?

    Hey Kristopher, just reducing red bull half with shaved tonka bean, man – you wanna make sure the tonka bean has a large of surface area as possible so the flavours infuse really well. It’s a delicious reduction 🙂

    Also, I’m using citric acid and malic acid for the acid solution
