A variation on the classic cocktail, Last Word.
The idea for this drink came about from wondering how I could make a Last Word style cocktail without the citrus. The solution for which was subbing in Vermouth. From there the complimentary flavors of Mr Black & Licor 43 accompanied by the hint of Coconut and mouth feel from the fat washed Gin create a delicious drinking experience. The addition of the dehydrated blood orange wheel allows the drink to evolve over time.
