This is an old fashioned riff that reminds me of an amazing day with my father, my Old Man. One day 25 years ago, we took a horseback ride through the jungle of Hawaii to the Black Sands Beach. We had Kona coffee in the morning, and ended with cocktails in the evening on the beach. A rich macadamia nut orgeat brings out the nutty and chocolate layers of Mr. Black. While my Old Man's favorite Scotch and Water, is highlighted with Caribbean Scotch that compliments the tropical coconut and lime.

Ingredients
Directions
In a mixing glass with ice, add all ingredients except bitters and garnish. Stir 30 -40 seconds til chilled and diluted.
In an old fashioned glass, over one large ice cube/sphere, strain and pour the cocktail into the glass.
Add two dashes of bitters as a float on top of cocktail. Peel a lime strip twist and rub it around the rim of the glass before balancing it on the edge.
Cheers!
Good Luck to us all! I know we have spent many hours tasting our creations to get them *just right*!
I look forward to recreating many recipes on here.
