This cocktail was inspired by the Earl Grey MarTEAni created by Audrey Saunders at Pegu Club in New York City. The Earl Grey MarTEAni is one of my absolute favorite cocktails, so I thought creating a coffee version with Mr. Black would be a great way of highlighting the liqueur with a bit of sweetness, citrus, and botanical undertones. Ingredients
Directions
Combine all ingredients into a shaking tin without ice.
Dry shake vigorously (10 - 15 seconds) to emulsify the egg white.
Add ice and shake for an additional 10 - 15 seconds.
Strain into a chilled, sugar-rimmed glass (at least 8 fl oz).
Express a lemon peel over the top to pop any large bubbles.
Garnish as desired.
