Mint and coffee go so well together. I’ve come to realize coffee pairs really nicely with so many different flavors, including the anise and carroway from Aalborg’s Akvavit. Meeting with the mentholy Fernet Branca are eucalyptus bitters and anise syrup; these herbaceous notes mingle with the sweet coffee flavors of the amazing Mr. Black’s and Chameleons Dark and Handsome coffee, turning this into a bracing but delicious cocktail. The egg white adds some foam and the mint its iconic aromatics

Ingredients

 1 ½ oz Aalborg Akvavit
 ¾ oz Mr. Black
 ½ oz Fernet Branca
 ½ oz Anise Syrup
 ½ oz Dark and Handsome Coffee
 ½ oz Egg White
 1 dash Absinthe Spritz
 2 dashes Bittercube Eucalyptus Bitters
 1 pinch Spearmint Bouquet

Directions

Add all ingredients to a shaker tin except garnish

Dry shake for 20 seconds

Add a large ice cube and shake hard.

Strain into a coupe glass and spritz with absinthe.

Garnish with a mint bouquet.

    This sounds both complex and delicious…love the use of mint and eucalyptus with the anise and Fernet! What a flavor bomb!
