Growing up as a kid i always loved my grandmas horchata, and as i grew older my coffee black, no frills, one late afternoon me and my girlfriend were hanging out and we had some horchata we had got from a local grocery store and i wanted a cocktail, so i added some coffee liquor to my horchata and it was a happy accident, we LOVED it

Ingredients

 1.50 oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
 4 oz Horchata

 2 sticks Cinnamon
 1 stick Star anise
 2.50 cups Rice
 2 cups Whole milk
 2 tsp Vanilla extract
 4 cups Water
 1.50 cups Sliced almonds (optional)
 1 cup Sugar
 1 pinch Ibarra hot chocolate (for garnish
 1 stick Cinnamon (for garnish)

Directions

In a old fashioned glass, add one large ice cube, add Mr black, and fill the glass with horchata.

Garnish with a stick of cinnamon and a sprinkle of the hot chocolate mix after you hit it with a grader, Enjoy!

Grind or blend up cinnamon, star anise, rice, and the optional almonds to chucks or course powder

Add 2 cups water to the powder, with sugar and vanilla, mix untill sugar has been dissolved.

Add last 2 cups water and milk, let the mixture chill in fridge from 8-24 hours. Strain with a fine mesh strainer.
