On a forgotten altar, deep in the unexplored jungle of Malagonga, intrepid explorers discovered the recipe to a lost elixir, known only as “The Curse of the Chocolate Monkey”, and the world was never again the same. A sweetly refreshing drink, benefiting from a unique blend of coffee, chocolate, orange, and rye—the flavor profile is both familiar and surprising.



 1.50 oz Mr. Black x WhistlePig
 1.50 oz Dark Chocolate Rum(Deadhead)
 0.75 oz Rye Whiskey(WhistlePig Piggyback)
 1 dash Antique Chocolate Bitters(Napa Valley)
 1 dash Orange Bitters(Fee Brothers)



Serve in a Martini glass, stirred.


Stir the liqueur, rum, rye, and bitters.


Pour over an ice ball in the Martini glass.


With a paring knife, carefully cut a strip of orange rind. Fold inward and firmly twist the peel close to the drink, in order to release a mist of citrus oils.


Garnish with orange wheel.
