This cocktail lends inspiration from the Negroni and Penicillin. The Whisky and Coffee Amaro paints a dark picture to begin with, then the orange themed Aperol helps brighten things up on the after taste. Regan's bitters to round off and keeps things in the same citrus theme.

The Penicillin theme that is base spirit of blended scotch whisky and smokey Islay adds interest while keeping in good harmony.
