This drink is inspired by the cure-alls of yester year and the old trope of "get this down you, you'll feel better". It makes for great evening sipping or the often needed afternoon pick-me-up. There's a subtle sweet and peppery taste of the apple and ginger combination sitting within the overall distinction of coffee. Inspiration has also come from the music of Rob Zombie, the name of the drink coming from his 2016 single, Medication for the Melancholy, again playing into its cure-all nature.
