With my formal apologies to the Italian language, this cocktail was inspired by my love of the flavor combination of Amaro Montenegro and Coffee. To build off of that base, I added cinnamon syrup and frangelico to sweeten it and cacao bitters to ensure it didn't lose that bitter edge. The end result is a strong, bittersweet drink that's a delicious companion as a dessert or with brunch.

Ingredients
Directions
Begin by starting your milk frother (if available/desired), so that the foam will be ready when the drink is completed.
Add the Mr. Black, Amaro Montenegro, and Hazelnut Liqueur to your shaker.
Add cacao bitters to taste. I recommend no less than 3 dashes and no more than 6, but I'm just a recipe not a cop so I promise not to tell if you add, like, a quarter ounce. (My preference is a heavy 4 dashes, because I like the bitterness it adds.)
Shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds and double strain into a coupe. (Or your glass of choice. Again, not a cop.)
Carefully top with milk foam, followed by shaking some ground cinnamon and the placement of a couple coffee beans.
Enjoy! π
This cocktail is exquisite!!! Bravo!!!!!!
Would a nondairy milk for froth work as well?
I love a good martini and coffee is my favorite thing!
Nondairy milk should work! I actually used my sister’s lactose-free milk.
