A spin on the classic Sazerac using some popular Greek ingredients with a nice hit of coffee. The perfect drink to sip late afternoon where day slowly turns into night.
Prepare large ice cube by freezing water and the orange blossom.
Add various small ice to chilled serving glass (double old fashioned) and add ouzo.
Stir until ouzo becomes cloudy then place aside.
Prepare garnish by placing orange peel and raisins onto cocktail pick
Add raisins and simple syrup to cocktail mixing glass and muddle.
Add Bitters, Metaxa and Mr Black to mixing glass with ice and stir well.
Pour Ouzo and ice into separate serving glass.
Add the orange blossom large ice cube into the serving glass; double strain in contents of mixing glass
Place saffron threads onto large ice and place cocktail pick garnish as desired.
Serve both glasses side by side and enjoy the 2 drinks.
