I decided to make this after having a White Russian made with Mr Black. Tiramisu was the first thing that came to mind if I wanted to do a take on a creamy dessert cocktail. I used Mr Black for the coffee, Dead Man's Fingers spiced rum for the all-spice flavour and Pellegrino Marsala for the distinctive sweetness of the soaked biscuit. I experimented with chocolate flakes to finish, but felt that cocoa powder provided a more authentic experience.



 45 ml Spiced Rum
 30 ml Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
 20 ml Marsala
 30 ml Pouring Cream
 1 tsp Cocoa Powder



Measure all liquids into a cocktail shaker and fill with ice.


Shake for around 12 seconds.


Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.


Dust top with cocoa powder using a fine strainer or tea strainer.
