I usually add a couple dashes of orange bitters to spruce up my Irish Coffee during the colder months, but I also wanted to create something that I could enjoy during the summertime. Mr. Black as the coffee base worked wonders with the Irish Whiskey and allows the orange to come through quite well. The addition of chocolate bitters makes this reminiscent of the chocolate oranges we have during the holiday season, while adding some much needed bitterness to such a sweet drink.



 1.50 oz Irish Whiskey (Bushmills is what I had on hand)
 1 oz Mr Black
 0.50 oz Grand Marnier
 0.33 oz 1:1 Simple Syrup
 3 dashes Fee Brother's Chocolate Bitters
 1 Orange Peel



Add all liquid Ingredients to mixing glass with ice


Stir until chilled


Strain into cocktail glass


Express orange peel over the glass and garnish
