I've always liked the pairings of chocolate with hot peppers and coffee with chocolate. I decided to combine the two in this drink, using bourbon as a base. The flavors of the coffee and chocolate pair really well with the heat from the pepper. I used a Fresno after experimenting with a few different peppers, but I think any red chile would work here depending on your heat tolerance and preference. Don't skimp on the garnish, I think it makes the drink.
