I wanted to create a dessert Manhattan riff that captures all the aspects of working a shitty night shift - the black of night, the bitterness, and the coffee you might need to get through it all. The result is a rich, bittersweet sipper with pops of orange and chocolate that complement the Cynar and Mr. Black, while the smooth black rum brings it all together. With any other coffee liqueur, the drink would be too sweet, but with Mr. Black, it's just right. Hope you enjoy!
