This cocktail was so much fun to make and to sip and reflect on its tasting notes. I wanted to capture a little bit of everything in this drink. Balancing flavors from around the world and smoothing it out with some milk washing.

Ingredients

 1.50 oz Puerto Rican Rum(Havana Club)
 0.50 oz Velvet Falernum
 0.50 oz Lemon juice
 1 dash Angostura Bitters
 1 dash Black Walnut Bitters(Fee Brothers)
 1 oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur (float)

Directions

First jigger out and measure your rum, velvet falernum, and fresh lemon juice to a mixing glass. Then add both your bitters.

Add your cocktail to 2 ounces of whole milk and stir gently. Then with coffee strainer strain cocktail through the coffee filter twice.

When cocktail is strained refrigerate, for twenty minutes. Then in mixing glass add your cocktail and a few ice cubes.

Stir for .10 seconds.

Strain into chilled Nick and Nora glass with clear ice.

With same ice in mixing glass, Add 1 oz Mr. Black, stir for .10 seconds. Slowly strain over the back of a bar spoon.

    Milk washing is a fairly simple process, it does take some time, but it totally worth it.
