I always liked the idea of coffee flavor in a cocktail. I thought rum would be a good base to go with the coffee. I tried many different ingredients to add to the two base ingredients of rum and coffee liqueur before I finalized the ingredients. In the end I took a photo of the drink and sent it out to my kids, all adults, so they could see my new cocktail. We do this quite often. Anyway they asked the name of it and I said I wasn’t sure yet, my daughter actually came up with the name.
Add all ingredients to your cocktail shaker
Shake with icevigorously and pour entire contents into a cocktail glass. Do not strain.
Garnish with fresh pineapple and a Maraschino cherry on a cocktail skewer. Enjoy your cocktail.
