After experiencing Fernet Leopold from a local distillery, I wanted to use it to compliment its chocolate taste with Mr. Black to create my own version of a Toronto. The Denver uses my local Fernet mixed with Rye and Mr. Black to create a refreshing yet strong fernet cocktail.

Ingredients

 1 oz Rye Whiskey
 1 oz Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur
 0.25 oz Fernet Leopold (Or Fernet Branca)
 0.25 oz Demerara Syrup
 2 dashes Chocolate Bitters

Directions

Add all glasses into mixing glass filled with ice and stir until chilled.

Strain into chilled coupe glass and enjoy.
