A rich, dessert-like cocktail fit for only the true Sith Lord. I was inspired by Star Wars when I wanted to include a rinse of Green Chartreuse, reminding me of Anakin Skywalker's green lightsaber as a young padawan. His terse, stoic manner always reminded me that of my old-fashioned Irish relatives so I felt like this espresso martini riff would allow Mr. Skywalker to lighten up, whether the setting being at a cantina on Tattooine or in his quarters on the Death Star. Notes: Anise, fennel, blueberry, apples, almond, chocolate.

0.75 fl oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
 1.50 fl oz Irish Whiskey
 2 dashes Cocoa Bitters(Angostura)
0.50 fl oz Guinness Simple Syrup
 1.00 fl oz Fresh Espresso
4 drops Green Chartreuse (rinse of glass)

Guinness Simple Syrup: A 1-1 ratio of Guinness to pure cane sugar. Bring Guinness and sugar to a simmer until sugar is fully dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool, then bottle.

Add cocoa bitters, Guinness Simple Syrup, Espresso, Mr. Black, and Irish Whiskey to shaker tin

Chill your cocktail glass

Once chilled, give your cocktail glass a Green Chartreuse rinse. For the best effect, use a spray bottle/atomizer to create a uniform rinse on your glass

Add ice to shaker. To allow for aeration of the espresso, give a short, energetic shake to the ingredients, no more than 8-10 seconds

Single strain into your glass and wait for drink to settle in order to allow for foamy head to form

Garnish with grated nutmeg and a single anise "death star"
