I was wondering what to mix with coffee liqueur for this challenge, but I wanted to stay away from Whiskey and Brandy and was puzzled. I was at work on the 30th and a client asked me for a Nutty Irishman. This was a shot I had heard of but never tried. I made him the shot and had some excess so I tasted it. After trying this concoction, I thought it kind of tasted like a coffee crisp! One of my favorite candy bars. So I spent some time messing with amounts, and came up with this!

Ingredients
Directions
Pour all liqueur into cocktail shaker
Add ice and shake lightly for 5 to 10 seconds (dilution is not the primary objective)(could be stirred until alcohol is chilled)
In chilled cocktail or margarita glass add a drop(s) of vanilla extract (to liking) and swirl around (like vermouth in a martini)
Strain shaker contents into chilled glass
Top with whipped cream and crushed/chopped coffee crisp if desired
Enjoy! May be a bit sweet to some, for less pronounced sweetness, dilute further in shaker before straining! π
