Browsing through the submitted cocktails I can’t help but be amazed at the delicate, beautifully crafted drinks made by artisans & masters of the craft. People iterating, refining & perfecting each drink until it’s perfectly balanced and unique. I’m sure I will make and enjoy a huge range of them in the coming months.

Yet I can’t help but think, at the end of the hardest 2 years in most people’s lives… sometimes subtlety can be foregone to make way for opulence. Balance can heed to overwhelming decadence and precision can be replaced with brute force.

Hence the creation of the Coffee Crumble; a drink that is 50% whipped cream and served with a Chocolate bar. This is a cocktail for when you need to say F**k it at the end of a hard week... or 2 years. The Coffee Crumble must be served with a whole Violet Crumble bar (avoid the inferior Crunchie). Bounce from boozey, creamy, cloud filled sips to crispy honey choc bites and feel yourself dissolve into dessert bliss.
