I wanted this to be anything but what you would expect when you think of a drink utilizing coffee or coffee liqueur.

The foundation for the drink is the combination of Cynar and Mr. Blacks. The rest is all about creating layers of flavor in the drink to be balanced and also be really enjoyable to drink. You can have deep flavors in a refreshing drink if it’s put together carefully.
I believe this drink achieves that and I hope you enjoy it.

Ingredients

 1.50 oz Demerara rumEl Dorado 12
 1 oz Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur
 0.50 oz Cynar
 0.50 oz Drambuie
 0.75 oz Lemon juice
 5 drops Saline
 4 drops Toasted Sesame Oil
 4 drops Chocolate Bitters(Woodford Reserve)
 3 drops Islay Whiskey( Laphroig 10)

Directions

Combine and shake all contents until well chilled.

Double strain into a Nick and Nora glass or something similar.

Garnish with 1 spray over top of atomized Laphroig 10 (or similar very peated, smoky scotch), and balance a decimated orange slice on the rim, or just float it in the drink.
