I wanted to make something that evokes the time coffee is most important- That moment in the morning where your day shifts from "Ugh, I'ma go back to sleep" to "Heck yeah, let's do this." For me that moment is breakfast, and this drink is designed to evoke flavors one finds there. On your first sip the bacon wash leads, giving way to the maple syrup you'd find on your waffles and leaving behind a refreshing orange aftertaste. The coffee flavor is present throughout, as it should be.
