I wanted to feature Cachaça as the base spirit and used the caipirinha as inspiration. I’ve always liked to include flavors that are regionally used, so used banana liqueur and lime to complement the spirit and Mr. Blacks. The name comes from the Brazilian origin of the ingredients while emphasizing the coffee component as a beloved breakfast drink.
Ingredients
2 oz Cachaça (Abelha Silver)
1 oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
0.25 oz Banane du Bresil(Giffard)
0.50 oz Lime juice
0.25 oz Demerara simple syrup (1:1 ratio)

Add ingredients to cocktail shaker

Shake over cracked ice (1 large cube, 1 cracked)
