After much experimentation I came to create this amazingly delicious cocktail! It takes inspiration from chocolate covered cherries that my father would buy my mother every Valentines day (that I would eat a few of!) It takes a cherry tea infused scotch and pairs it with Mr. Black Cold Brew Coffee liqueur and emboldens both with simple syrup and chocolate bitters. This is a cocktail that I would put on my cocktail list every February to showcase tea and coffee infused spirits!

Ingredients

 1.50 oz Cherry Tea infused Johnnie Walker Black Label
 1 oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
 0.75 oz Vanilla Simple Syrup
 0.50 oz Water
 2 dashes Scrappys Chocolate Bitters

Directions

Mix all ingredients in a mixing glass with a large cube of ice. Stir for 30 seconds to allow scotch to open up.

Strain over new ice in a rocks glass.

Garnish with 3 cocktail cherries skewered on a cocktail pick

Cherry Tea Infused Scotch

I used 3 Celestial Black Cherry Berry tea bags in a 750ml bottle of Johnnie Walker Black Label, and let steep at room temperature for 5 days.

Vanilla Simple Syrup
5

1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, and 2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Dissolve sugar and mix, then cool.
