I make cocktails for my wife and friends frequently and I was looking for a coffee based bourbon cocktail is that is less sweet, less heavy, but with some sweetness, bitters, and tons of flavor. After many wonderful experiments, this recipe hit it out of the park.



 2 oz Bourbon Whiskey (90+ proof)(Cotton Hollow)
 1 oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
 ½ oz Hazelnut Liqueur(Frangelico)
 4 dashes Aztec Chocolate Bitters(Fee Brothers)



Add ingredients into a shaker with ice


Shake vigorously


Strain into a cocktail glass of your choice. I like to use martini glasses for presentation


Garnish with a dried orange slice (or a Luxardo cherry will work too)
