As a young bartender, I found my palate to be my best tool for judgement, followed by my trusty jigger in the laboratory of mixology! I am used to the run-of-the-mill espresso martini or Irish coffee, and I was inspired to expand my palate and form a new, unique tasting cocktail. With an ambitious flavor profile, the sweet nuttiness of the cold brew liqueur leads the way, while the herbaceous amaro, amaretto, and cardamom support the star, adding balance and dimension. Enjoy!
In a mixing tin, add cold brew liqueur, whisky, amaretto, amaro, brewed coffee, and bitters.
Add regular ice cubes, and shake mixture until cold.
Strain and serve the cocktail in a chilled stemmed crystal, or coupe glass.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
