Named for the Voodoo Guédé who guards the cemetery, this rich cocktail is dark and complex— with Demerara and Cruzan rums and spices from the Caribbean. The voodoo cousin of Don the Beachcomber’s Nui Nui, you can taste the delicious Mr. Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur mingling with citrus and exotic spice.

Ingredients

 1 oz Demerara Rum(El Dorado 12 Year)
 1 oz Virgin Islands Aged Rum(Cruzan Single Barrel)
 ¾ oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
 ¼ oz Allspice Dram
 ¾ oz Fresh lime juice
 1 oz Fresh orange juice
 ½ oz 2:1 cinnamon syrup
 ¼ oz 2:1 vanilla syrup
 2 dashes Angostura Bitters

Directions

Combine all ingredients in the mixing tin of a Hamilton Beach top down stick blender

Add 8 ounces of crushed ice

Blend on high for 8-10 seconds

Pour contents of mixing tin into a large brandy snifter of tiki mug

Fill to the brim with crushed ice

Garnish with dried blood orange and lemon wheel and cinnamon stick
