One of my favorite things on a brisk autumn morning is a piece of warm cardamom banana bread and a cup of coffee.

This combines the flavors of banana bread and the warmth of cardamom with the flavor of coffee up front.

Ingredients

 1.50 oz Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur
 0.50 oz Rum (Appleton Estates)
 1.00 oz Banana Liqueur (Giffard Banane du Brésil)
 0.50 oz Lemon Juice
 5 Cardamom Pods
 2 dashes Black Walnut Bitters (Fee Brothers)
 1 Lemon Peel

Directions

Muddle the cardamom in the bottom of a shaker, breaking apart the pods

Add the other ingredients to the shaker and shake with ice for 15 seconds

Double strain into a Nick and Nora glass

Garnish with a lemon peel
