Black Harvest
I wanted something creamy with some of my favorite fall flavors, but I didn't want any one flavor to stand out above the others. This is a nice balancing act that everyone could love.
The Basic Bobitt
If you aren't already that person, everyone has that "Basic" friend who just can't wait for fall to hit, the leaves to change, the pumpkin spice to flow... this drink is for them (and everyone else) This one goes out to you B! As basic as they come, and one of the best friends a person can ask for!
Gourd of the Kings
A festive pumpkin inspired dessert cocktail. Topped with a delicious homemade pumpkin spice butterscotch foam to satisfy your sweet tooth.
7 Shades of Black
7 shades of Black is 7 ingredients and basically Autumn and cool weather without the pumpkin spice. It incorporates the smoothness of Mr. Black with the two best things I ever had with coffee, orange and cinnamon. Perfectly suitable for a cool Fall day. Works well with Mr. Black's barrel age as well.
Pumpkin Spice Latt-ini
Martini purists will hate the name, but still love the drink! A lovely dessert cocktail in which decadent fall flavors are brought by a roasted pumpkin spice syrup. Just in time for autumn, this riff on an espresso martini will leave you wanting more...
Pumpkin Patch Brew Sour
What better way to bring in the fall season with a Pumpkin Spice cocktail to fill up your soul. A nice blend of spices and smoothness to have your taste buds run rapid
The Bar-ista’s Delight
I used to work at a Starbucks, and in recent years they have released a cold foam that goes with they're drinks and cold brew. After trying Mr. Black I wanted a drink that didn't need very complex flavors or was overly sweetend. One that you are able to just drink and enjoy. My concept is one where you have little input on altering the coffee, no mocha or pumpkin spice drink, let the coffee do the talking. I was looking for flavors that will pleasantly delight you and that you wouldn't expect.
Pumpkin Spice Slammer
The pumpkin spiced slammer is a bold yet refreshing cocktail, perfect reminder of Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte most popular Fall beverage. I made this cocktail for the bar I work at, shortly after we installed a keg of Colectivo Coffee cold brew I was thinking about new drinks specifically for the Fall that have coffee. This drink is the perfect balance between, richness and boldness from the cold brew and Mr. Blacks, complimented with the sweet flavors in Rumchata and Pumpkin Spice Syrup.
PS-Espresso Martini
This is my take on a Pumpkin Spice Latte, but in espresso martini form. Much better than the original because... Well, booze!
Irish Black Magic
We were planning a Fall Friend Fest to catch up with friends we had not seen since before the pandemic, and I needed an Irish whiskey cocktail that screamed "Autumn". I combined Irish whiskey with our pumpkin chai cold brew as an Irish coffee alternative, but it was a bit bitter. Cinnamon syrup toned it down, as well as the addition of Mr. Black which also helped build a beautiful foam. I made a spiced sugar glass with broken star anise pods to garnish and crunch on after the cocktail is gone.
Pumpkin Spice Libation
PSL...but make it boozy. I love PSL season, and this adult cocktail with cold brew is the perfect libation to cozy up with for fall, next to a bonfire with a flannel blanket. This cocktail is made with 4 oz pumpkin chai cold brew coffee, 1.5 oz Whistle Pig Rye, and 1.5 oz Mr. Black Barrel Rested topped with a pumpkin cold cream. Garnish with a sprinkle of pumpkin spice on top and a cinnamon stick.
Pumpkin Wake Up
I’d been experimenting with Mr. Black for a little while to great success but I really wanted to make a true fall cocktail that had a great bit of spice and flavor. So with some pumpkin spice syrup in the fridge and a couple of tries and some recipe adjustments, I created the Pumpkin Wake Up, the perfect fall cocktail.
Pumpkin Chai, My Oh My!
This cocktail combines two classic Autumn flavors: chai and pumpkin spice. The bold and smooth flavor of Mr. Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur pairs perfectly with the intense flavors created by the pumpkin chai syrup. Both whole and ground spices were used to formulate the homemade syrup that not only provides the sweetness for the drink but also the warm, intense autumn flavors. The addition of orange bitters gives the cocktail a distinctive aromatic touch. Every sip captures the Autumn mood! 🙂
SS Pumpkin (smoky/spicy)
My favorite dessert is pumpkin pie, but I cannot get on board with the the generic pumpkin spice lattes that are all the rage in Autumn because the flavored syrup is so heavy and fake tasting. Mr Black inspired me to create my own PSL: the SS Pumpkin (Smoky/Spicy Pumpkin). It has all the best parts of Autumn: real pumpkin, rich and flavorful coffee liqueur, a hint of smoke like an evening bonfire, and a little kick of rye whiskey and spices that warm me up better than my oversized infinity scarf and tan Uggs ever could.
Gourd-in-rumsey
I was tasked with making a winter cocktail at the bar I work at and I really wanted to make a pumpkin spice cocktail. I used a bunch of different liquors and nothing was different tasting so I stopped trying with the pumpkin. I bought Mr Black and thought “hmm let me try using that” when I used it I noticed that was the one thing that was missing. As soon as I used it there was nothing that needed to be changed.
Pumpkin Spice Latte
This was inspired by a nigh spent by the fire pit many moons ago. After diving headlong into the Fall pumpkin craze I figured my wife and I could use a little evening pick me up. At the time we didn't know of any Pumpkin Cocktails, so we decided to throw together a few things we had around the house and this cocktail was born.
